Like it or not, things like that happen in life. To summarize, "It's Not Like It's A Secret" is a YA novel done right with rarely a dull moment, even in the parts where the story slows down.

A must read for anyone interested in LGBT representation, asian culture, race dynamics, or just good reads. Identity is central to It’s Not Like It’s a Secret. Sana is a Japanese-American, and her experience is deeply affected by that.

She was raised on the dual principals of gaman (endure the unendurable with grace and dignity) and unselfishness (keep your head down and don’t demand individuality, which is a selfish, American construction). The conflicts in the novel arise from these.

From the very moment that I heard of It’s Not Like It’s a Secret until I finished the book, I absolutely wanted to love this – it had such an interesting premise, diverse characters, and a fun plot that really made me hope that this was going to be one of those books that I couldn’t get enough of.

Unfortunately, it kind of fell a little bit flat for me – I had a hard time really. 1 The expected delivery period after the order has been dispatched via your chosen delivery method. 2 Express is not available on all items. 3 Please note this service does not override the status timeframe "Dispatches in", and that the "Usually Dispatches In" timeframe still applies to all orders.
